Elena Tory-Henderson’s primary practice explores the interplay between the material & immaterial in the gallery space through spatial installation & sculpture.
Elena has exhibited in group shows throughout Sydney, as well as at the Perth Institute of Contemporary art. In 2014 Elena completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (honours) in painting and was awarded the Austrian Arlbeg 1800 residency. She was a selected artist for the 2014 Expanded Architecture Temporal Formal Seidler City Exhibition in collaboration with architect Nina Tory-Henderson. Elena was a curatorial assistant at Lilac City Studio’s for 2 years (2016-2018). Her first curatorial project BODY/BLOOD was exhibited at Visual Bulk Gallery in Hobart in 2018.
Elena is currently completing a Bachelor of Design in Architecture at the University of Sydney.
